To book a course – all you need to do is:
- Complete the online booking form with the date you wish to attend the course.
- Pay bank transfer. Alternatively credit card payments can be made with prior arrangement. However credit card payments will incur a fee .
- Then attend the face-to-face training session.
Successful applicants will receive a certificate for the course they have completed .

HLTAID003 Provide First Aid
You will be covering various topics such as basic first aid, control bleeding, bandaging, slings, snake & funnel web bites, shock, asthma, anaphylaxis, fractures, dislocations, burns, choking, spinal injuries, seizures, diabetes, stroke, cardiac arrest, CPR resuscitation techniques.
This course is designed for people that have never completed a first aid course before and that wish to learn over two days in the classroom at a slower pace. The exercise workbook will be completed in the classroom together with the trainer. Also numerous practical scenarios will be completed over both days to reinforce what you have learnt.
People who are first aiders for their workplace must complete the CPR course yearly to remain current with their first aid certificate, as per the first aid code of practice. Perform CPR is the nationally recognized, standard course to learn CPR Skills.
HLTAID003 Provide First Aid – Refresher Course
Provide First Aid Refresher Course ½ day – This course is delivered as assessment only and is recommended for experienced confident first aiders. The online workbook assessment must be completed and your results printed and taken with you to the class.
You must hold a current First Aid Certificate in order to complete this refresher course.
Will receive a certificate valid for 3 years. Except for the CPR component which is valid for 1 year.
HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
During this course you will cover infection control procedures, dangers associated with first aid, correct CPR techniques, the use of defibrillator and how it works, how to deal with an unconscious casualty. Also during the course scenarios will be completed to assess your progress through the course.
Successful applicants will receive a certificate valid for 1 year.
2228VIC Course In The Management Of Asthma Risks And Emergencies In The Workplace
This courses will bring you up to date with the new childcare regulations. You will be learning the signs and symptoms of Asthma for a mild, moderate or severe attack, the consequences of an attack, allergic and non-allergic triggers, first aid procedures in relation to Asthma, environmental hazards, Asthma medications, prevention strategies, Asthma action plans.
You must also complete the online workbook for Asthma prior to undertaking this course.
you will be assessed throughout the course by scenarios and the use of the equipment such as Asthma puffers and spacers. When the course have been successfully completed you will receive the certificate (22282VIC) , which is valid for 3 years.
22300VIC Course In First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis
This course will bring you in-line with the new childcare regulations. You will be learning about recognition, management, prevention and risk management strategies. How to treat a casualty in accordance with relevant legislation and organizational polices. What causes an allergic reaction, what are the consequences of the conditions. You will also learn the different types of action plans for Anaphylaxis. The roles and responsibilities of responding to allergic reactions and anaphylaxis.
You must also complete the online workbook for Anaphylaxis prior to undertaking this course.
Provide an Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting
The HLTAID004 course incorporates the Provide First Aid (HLTAID003) course, but contains additional information specific to the childcare industry which makes it a course approved by ACECQA for people working in childcare.
You must complete the Online Workbook for Provide and Emergency First Aid Response in an Education and Care Setting (HLTAID004).
You will be assessed throughout the course by scenarios and the use of the equipment such as Asthma puffers, spacers, Epi-pen and Anapen. When the courses have been successfully completed you will receive a certificate that includes the above course codes which are valid for 3 years except the CPR component which is valid for 1 year.
22282VIC Course in the Management of Asthma Risks and Emergencies in the Workplace and
22300VIC Course in First Aid Management of Anaphylaxis
This nationally recognised course in asthma and anaphylaxis training combines two approved courses to provide students with the essential first aid skills. It is approved by ACECQA and designed to meet the needs of childcare workers, as well as those in occupations involving children and workplaces where the risk of asthma or anaphylaxis is higher.
The course certification will be valid for 3 years for Asthma and Anaphylaxis
